In 2012, the National Network to End Domestic Violence hosted the 2nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters. Held February 27 – March 1, 2012 in Washington, DC, the second World Conference of Women’s Shelters connected 1,468 delegates from 80 countries and featured speakers like Former President Bill Clinton, HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Reese Witherspoon.
