Agent Provocateur | #APTalks: Myra J. Biblowit, President & CEO of Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Agent Provocateur is all about celebrating and empowering women. As a homage to this, we will be featuring a series of compelling talks, honouring one extraordinary individual each month. Each talk will feature someone from a different background, each with a different story to tell reflecting the importance of women’s empowerment to them.

To go hand-in-hand with our partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), our first AP Talks features the charity’s President and CEO, Myra J. Biblowit.

BCRF’s mission is to advance the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. During Myra’s tenure at the foundation, BCRF funding has enabled many of the most important breakthroughs in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, metastasis and survivorship. Myra has been widely recognized for running one the most financially efficient and transparent non-profits in the Unites States. Under her leadership, BCRF stands as one of the most fiscally responsible non-profits in the U.S.

Myra was honored by Women in Development New York, with its 2012 Woman of Achievement Award. She was also a recipient of New York SmartCEO Magazine’s 2013 Brava! Award, which recognizes distinguished women leaders. In 2015, Myra received the ‘Leadership in Health Award’ from the Kelly Cares Foundation and in May 2016 she was the recipient of the Thayer Academy Alumni Humanitarian Award.

Watch our interview with Myra below where we ask her what female empowerment means to her and how it has influenced her life.
