A formerly prominent Wichita Falls businessman accused of human trafficking and indecency with a child bailed out of Wichita County Jail Monday, according to online jail records.
Anthony Ryan Patterson, 44, was free from jail on $500,000 in total bonds, according to online jail records.
He was arrested by Texas Rangers and booked into WCJ on Wednesday, Feb. 3, according to court and jail records.
Patterson faces up to life in prison if convicted of trafficking and up to 10 years in prison if convicted of indecency with a child.
He resigned as president of Patterson Auto Group while still behind bars, according to a media release Friday.
Patterson is charged with trafficking of a child and indecency with a child by exposure in connection with incidents Dec. 26, 2017, according to court records.
His co-defendant, Jandreani Dashimella Bell, 28, was free Monday from Wichita County Jail on $150,000 in bonds, according to online jail records.
Bell is charged with indecency with a child by exposure and trafficking of a child in connection with incidents Dec. 23, 2017, according to an indictment.
She is also charged with attempted trafficking of a child, and trafficking of a child in connection with Nov. 18, 2017, incidents, according to an indictment.
A Wichita County jury handed down a four-count indictment against Bell on Feb. 19, 2020, according to court records.
Bell told law-enforcement officers that she met Patterson through a “sugar daddy” website and exchanged sex for money with him before bringing her two relatives, then 10 and 8, to his home, according to court documents.
The two little girls were interviewed at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center where they recounted Bell taking them to meet “Anthony” in Wichita Falls, getting into his vehicle, going into his home and the events that followed, according to court documents.
Bell told law-enforcement officers she brought the girls after Patterson told her he was attracted to young people, according to the affidavit.
Bell also said Patterson enjoyed blasphemy during sex, according to court records.
