Bike Newport held their 4th Ride for Breast Cancer Awareness AND despite rainy weather had their biggest turn out yet. Newport Police Department escorted participants across hwy 101 as they began their choice of 10 mile or 25 mile ride options.
The purpose of the ride is to raise public awareness and fund breast cancer research in an effort to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. All registration fees are donated directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Riders received a wonderful gift bag from Trek Women and Bike Newport. At the end of the ride the participants enjoyed some delicious food and won prizes during the after party raffle at Bike Newport.
