derek paravicini is a muscial savant. He is a pretty unique gem among homo sapiens. He has perfect pitch. and can pretty much play anything he ever heard. Adam Ockleford in the video is his tutor. Adam is an amazing, dedicated and kind educator who has taught derek piano skill. look at how happy when derek plays.
This is at an event to raise fund for autistic children in Oxford England, Dec 17, 2010. i have seen Lang Lang, Yo Yo Ma and really amazing famous artists played. but derek’s small charity concerts are the best! there were interactions and just pure amazement that any human being can do what he does… i wish more people could have seen this.
