A single mother of four is no longer homeless but is still feeling the strain as Christmas approaches.
“I’m asking for help this year cause I need it. We have been blessed to be back in our own place after being homeless and staying with people,” she wrote. “I would love to make them smile with y’all’s help.”
The Empty Stocking Fund has helped make Christmas better for those who needed it for 89 years. Last year, the charity raised more than $82,000 for children and families across the region, helping 1,000 families.
