There are just five days left to donate money online to buy Christmas Eve pyjamas for homeless Liverpool children.
So far more than £1,000 has been donated by ECHO readers, bringing the Pyjama Party Liverpool campaign closer to its goal of ensuring no child is left without.
There are two ways to donate – via Paypal using the form below or in person at one of the many collection points across the city.
The deadline for monetary donations is Monday, November 30, while you have until December 4 to drop a pair off yourself.
For the past six years, Merseyside people have shown their generous nature by giving thousands of pairs of pyjamas. Last year, when the ECHO first backed the campaign, run by Woolton-based mum and daughter Karen and Ashleigh Downing, an incredible 10,400 pairs were collected.
They will be given to services that directly work with children and families who are homeless or otherwise in need.
You can find the full list of drop-off points on the map below
Government figures released last month show that 98,300 UK households were living in temporary accommodation at the end of June 2020. That’s an unprecedented rise of 7% in just three months.
This time last year, homeless charity Shelter revealed a child becomes homeless in Britain every eight minutes – a figure that will have since increased.
