Hamilton Streetcar – Invisible people

Psychedelic rock group formed in 1963. Releasing 3 singles between 1967-68, and finally releasing only one album in 1969. They played the San Francisco scene with Jefferson Airplane, Iron Butterfly, Spirit, Strawberry Alarm Clock, and they were in the midst of the action back in the mid 60’s. When they eventually made their album in 1969 they were being groomed to be another widely known band. But instead the album was under control of producer Richard Delvy, who had a completely different opinion on what kind of album was going to be made, and he basically decided to make a concept album with very little input from the band. Many studio musicians were used, who recorded over what the original band had played and the record that surfaced was far from what the original band ever sounded like.
