Indonesia's 'invisible people' marginalised



Many of them are poor farmers, who migrate to the cities in search of a better living.
But without a proper address or formal job, they cannot get or renew what’s known as the KTP or Indonesian identity card.
The card allows them to get free schooling for their children, free medical services and be enrolled in the government’s poverty eradication programmes.
Without this piece of paper, they have little choice but to make a living off other people’s trash.
