Kitchen to community: Giving home-cooked meals every day to the poor during the COVID-19 lockdown

During the COVID-19 lockdown the poor especially the daily wage earners lost their incomes pushing them into penury. Some of the poor are taken care by citizens and citizen groups. We have an example here of a group of friends in North Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar who spend their mornings every day to cook meals for the poor who cannot afford to buy food during the COVID-19 lockdown. Every day they make around 15-175 freshly cooked meals which are then given to the Delhi Police for distribution amongst the poor. On May 12, 2020 when this video was uploaded, the group had prepared about 5300 meals over a course of 40 days.
