MACC Charities: Macc Charities Meeting the Basic Needs of the people in the Community…
Our mission is to help people in our community meet their basic needs. We serve 40 congregations in Manchester, Bolton, South WIndsor, Willington, and Glastonbury.
The majority of our service goes out to the residents of Manchester and Bolton, CT.
We help people get on their feet.
Our Food Pantry provides healthy food for people in need. This is a free service. The food comes from donations from our community. We also provide personal shopping for folks that aren’t able to come in and pick up the food.
Our Community Kitchen provides hot meals for members of our community. We serve healthy local food.
Community threads thrift shop provides clothing for all ages at no cost or a reduced price.
Our Community Cottage provides items for members of our community that are in need of reestablishing their home. Due to house fire or other circumstance. We provide everyday household items, laundry, and a shower at no cost. We also provide information on additional resources to help them get back on their feet.
Our organization exists to help our community. We cannot do this without your help. We are always looking for volunteers, partners, and donations.
