Making Progress in Cancer Diagnostics: Clinical Practice and Policy



The Health, Medicine and Society Program of the Aspen Institute and the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics hosted an expert webinar on blood-based multi-cancer tests, which have the potential to detect scores of cancers at once and could significantly improve screening rates and ultimately outcomes.

But many policy questions remain. Will Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance be ready to pay for them? Will they be widely adopted and accessible? How do we ensure access to treatment? These and other important issues were discussed in this timely webinar.
