Phoenix police net 11 in sting targeting child sex crimes, trafficking


Phoenix police arrested 11 people on suspicion of sex crimes involving children.

Eleven people were arrested by the Phoenix Police Department on child sex crime charges, according to a press release from the department on Monday.

The Phoenix Police Department partnered with Chandler police to target online predators through undercover sting operations from Nov. 31 to Dec. 4, according to police. 

Police said they used ads on websites frequented by child predators and arrested them after suspects brokered deals for sex acts.

Suspects include Muharem Dzidic, 51; Ivan Lopez, 23; Richard Fisher, 47; Jorge Camou, 29; Kristian Valenzuela, 37; Clifford Passmore, 29; Edmundo Nolasco, 38; Allan Sabo, 55; Thomas Garcia, 54; Luis Menjares, 39; and Jarvis Reed, 41.

Suspects were charged with various crimes, including child sex trafficking, attempted sexual conduct with a minor, luring a minor for sexual exploitation and possession of dangerous drugs.
