FOCUS : Ramadan is coming to end and Muslims across the world are gearing up for Eid. But not everyone will be able to celebrate. With a record 4 million Syrian refugees now registered, and a lack of international support for the crisis, humanitarian organisations are feeling the pinch. Starting next month, UN food coupons will be stopped for some half a million refugees. The aid vacuum is increasingly being filled by Islamic charities, some clearly pursuing a salafist agenda.
