Women’s Ministry and income development programs (Table Banking)
Women are given $100 seed money to start their own businesses which range from farming to opening up shops at the local market where they can sell products that they make. They learn basic business skills on their way to being self-sufficient.
Problem and Need – Women who have been widowed or abandoned by their husbands need to develop the skills necessary to become self-supporting through Income generating projects.
Solution – Train these women how to run a small business by teaching them basic economic principles needed to help them sell their products in the open marketplace.
Project Goals: To expand the “Table Banking” program to 20 villages in Northern Uganda as well as 20 in Kenya.
