Women, children turned away from shelters in Canada daily



A CBC News analysis reveals that in November 2019, an average of 620 women and children a day were turned away from domestic violence shelters across Canada. Korinne Loomis of Adsum for Women and Children says people are turned away daily because of a lack of space.
