Chapin Springer ’04 chose CRS because he didn’t know what he wanted to be when he grew up (and still doesn’t). But he knew that a flexible skillset could be applied to what he was interested in, leading to more career options, and the CRS program would provide that. Today he works as a communications officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, often educating and presenting on what the foundation does.
Being a strong writer. Being a critical thinker. Being able to think strategically– these are things taught in CRS classes, and there isn’t an employer out there who isn’t looking for people who can do these things well and constantly.
