Young Voices New Visions 2021

Pupils from Worcestershire schools had their work exhibited in the Young Voices, New Visions exhibition at Worcester Cathedral, an annual exhibition showcasing the artistic talent of young people. The artworks were created by local schools, individuals and community groups responding to the 2021 theme ‘Gratitude’.

The exhibition was curated by Richard Webb and Steve Thomas who mentored a young artist/curator from Meadow Arts’ Creative Practitioner Network, Bobbie Whittaker, who has kindly written a blog post about her experience which you can read on our website: – this slideshow shows the curators in action and the work of the young people involved.

The exhibition was organised by Severn Arts, working in partnership with Meadow Arts and with the support of Arts Society Worcester.

Meadow Arts – exploring places and ideas with contemporary art

Meadow Arts is an inspirational contemporary art charity delivering ambitious and accessible projects in unexpected rural places. We believe that excellent contemporary art has the power to encourage new ideas and expand horizons, by making projects that are creative, inspirational, collaborative, responsive and curious.

Working in partnership with a variety of host locations, usually highly regarded heritage buildings, historic landscapes or public spaces, Meadow Arts supports artists by commissioning new work and creating inspiring events and exhibitions.
